ABES Community Build 2014

As a first year student studying Construction Economics Management at UCT, it is compulsory to take part in the annual Community Build which is organised by ABES (Assosiation of the Built Environment Students) and the CEM Department. This week-long build took place at the Temablethu School for disabled children in Gugulethu from 1-5 September 2014. There were four main areas of focus on the school grounds, namely: Garden works, bathroom refurbishment, playground and front of house. The class was divided into groups where I was part of the garden works team. My group's blog, containing more information, can be found below.
