ABES Community Build 2015

As a committee member of the Association of Built Environment Students (ABES), I assisted with the planning of the week-long community building project, and was involved in the supervision of the works for five days during the week. This Build took place over the mid-semester vacation in September at the Imizamo Yethu Sports Ground in Hout Bay. During this time, the ABES committee assisted and supervised a group of first year students in the construction of a concrete spectator stand to be used by the Imizamo Yethu community. The build was an overall success and was enjoyed by everyone.
